Bingley Rural - Council Candidate Announced

Robert Beckwith is the Council Candidate for Bingley Rural ward in the local elections which will be held on May 6th 2010, the same day as the general election.

 

Robert Beckwith is a teacher and lives in Bingley.  He is married with three children and is a school governor.  Throughout his life he has worked as a volunteer with environmental projects and led a campaign on improving the controls on factories that were spewing out pollution.

Denholme – A629 causes concerns

 

The Shipley Labour Action team were out speaking to residents in Denholme recently.  One of the key issues that came up on the doorstep was the busy A629 which is the main thoroughfare through the village between Halifax and Keighley.
