Cllr Greenwood has made repeated requests to the owners of the Carnegie Library to do up this local landmark before it falls in to wrack and ruin.  The issue has been escalated to Executive Member for Regeneration in the City, Cllr David Green. 

A response from the owners has now been received. 

Apparently the reason for the delay has been an issue with the purchase of the land at the back of the library building, this issue should be resolved within the next month and they have confirmed that works can then begin.
