On Sunday 18th October 2009, Local Labour Party
campaigner, Mairead Farndale and the Shipley Labour Action Team visited
residents in Baildon to ask what issues they felt were not being addressed in
their area. The issues raised were poor
road surfacing on Woodview Avenue and Park Lane, littering in a snicket on
St.James’ Road and speeding and poor signage on Roundwood Road.
Mairead contacted the Council’s Highway department and
alerted them to these concerns and as a result the Highways department are
looking into what can be done to resolve the residents concerns. An update will be posted on this site as
soon as we hear back form them.
If you wish to speak to Mairead and the Shipley
Labour Action Team and would like us to visit you then please email Mairead on or
