Bradford Labour Manifesto launched in Shipley

Bradford Labour launched its manifesto in Shipley on Saturday, pledging to focus on 'education, jobs and skills, housing and protecting the vulnerable'.

The manifesto, which was launched in Windhill and Wrose, is entitled 'Labour Delivering' and has "addressing poverty, fairness to everyone and personal responsibility" as the underlying principles according to Bradford Labour's group leader, Ian Greenwood.

If elected to run the Council, it would mean Shipley would be promoted as a principal rail and transport hub for the area.

The manifesto also highlights the many failings of the current Conservative and Liberal Democrat run Council, including the fact that Council performance is among the bottom 10% of Councils in the entire country.
