Windhill & Wrose Councillor, Susan Hinchcliffe recently appeared on BBC Radio Leeds to discuss our campaign to get Network Rail to clean up the bridge by Shipley railway station of all the pigeon droppings that are on the pavement and wall underneath the bridge.
So far Network Rail are refusing to take responsibility for this despite owning the bridge, and meanwhile it costs the Council hundreds of pounds to clean up each time, paid for by Bradford taxpayers. |

The Labour Party has chosen Alex Ross-Shaw as prospective
candidate in Windhill & Wrose for the 2012 council elections. Mr. Ross-Shaw
has stood in Shipley in the last two council elections and was chosen by local party
members to represent the party at next year’s council elections.
“It’s an honour to be selected to stand in Windhill &
Wrose where I’ve campaigned regularly to support Councillor’s Vanda Greenwood
and Susan Hinchcliffe. I can’t wait to get started on my own campaign and help
local residents with any issues they may have.”
Labour currently has two councillors in Windhill & Wrose,
Cllr’s Vanda Greenwood and Susan Hinchcliffe. The Liberal Democrats hold the
remaining seat with Cllr John Hall, whose seat is up for election next May.
